The ERIE’s 1-800 number now provides basic account information to callers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By choosing option 9 on the phone menu, Agents and Policyholders can simply enter a policy number or account billing number and have automated information over the phone at any time.
The system gives callers access to the following information for property/casualty policies:
- Policy or account balances
- Amount and date of the last payment received
- Amount and date due for the next payment
- Amount needed to rescind a non-pay cancellation
- Confirmation of endorsement processing
Policy information is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering service even when the Customer Service Contact Center is closed. Customers continue to have the option to speak directly with a customer service representative during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
